Maxi Larghi, the lawyer who left everything for God and music
Maxi was born in the Traslasierra Valley, in the province of Córdoba (Argentina) in a family where God and music permeated every moment of his childhood.
Composer with a particular musical style and thousands of plays on Spotify, Maxi Larghi seeks to bring God to people through his songs, author of the albums Soy Nazareno, Sal y Luz and Llena este Lugar.
“All my albums were in the praise, worship genre, and this new one would be a completely different thing.
“Now I want to go the other way, I feel called to tear down walls and build bridges. Music reaches where preaching and writing do not reach. I'm working on a new album, Periférico. It will probably come out early next year. “More than missionizing, I want to find myself.” Two documents by Pope Francis on evangelization and fraternity, Evangelii Gaudium and Fratelli tutti, have greatly inspired Maxi and he says that he has “many friends who are atheists, who believe in other things, he loves being with them and feels comfortable” .
“I don't want to convert them, but I know that having experienced Jesus is the best thing that happened to me in my life. The music I have been making until now is the deepest thing in my heart, but my atheist friends don't come in, it's as if I spoke another language. That's why I feel called to make an album that can connect with them," announces the man from Córdoba.
